Crabapple Mojito
Baked Brie Bowl

Forget the sugary drink mixes, discover the delicious and all-natural taste of Crabapple Mixers.

Ingredients:
• 2 Tbsp cream • 2 Tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 Tsp cloves zest from one orange
• 2 Tbsp icing sugar • 1 Cup flour • 1 Cup oats
• 250 ml Appleflats Crabapple Jelly
• 500ml Appleflats Sweet Maple Crabapple Mix
• 8 Baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
• 1/4 Tsp baking soda • 1/2 Cup melted butter
• 1/4 Tsp baking powder • 1 1/4 Brown sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
2. Toss sliced apples in 250 ml Appleflats Crabapple Jelly. Once evenly coated, line bottom of 9″ x 13″ baking pan
3. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, melted butter, and 1 tbsp cinnamon. Crumble evenly over apples
4. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
5. While crisp is baking, combine 500 ml Appleflats Maple Cocktail Mix, icing sugar, cream, 1 tsp cinnamon, cloves, and zest from one orange in a small pot. Bring to a boil Simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until slightly thickened
6. After 45 minutes, pour maple mixture over crisp and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes
CANADIAN CRISP





Ingredients:
• 2 Cups flour (you can use one cup Red Fife flour and one cup all-purpose flour)
• ¾ Cups firmly packed brown sugar
• 1 Tsp baking powder • 1 Tsp baking soda
• ¼ Cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
• 1 Cup chocolate chips
• 1 ¾ Cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 or 4 bananas) • Cooking spray
• ¼ Cup Appleflats Crabapple Jelly melted
• ¼ Cup vegetable oil or sunflower oil
CRABAPPLE BANANA BREAD

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper leaving an overhang to remove the banana loaf after it is finished cooling
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, pecans and chocolate chips in a large bowl, and stir well
3. Combine the bananas, melted crab apple jelly and vegetable oil in a medium bowl and mix well. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and still well. Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan
4. Bake for 50 – 55 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on wire racks for about 10 minutes and then using the parchment paper overhang remove the banana bread from the pan and finish cooling on the wire rack. Dust with icing sugar after the loaf has cooled
5. Serve at room temperature or a little warm – with vanilla ice cream or just enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee

Ingredients:
• 2 lbs Strawberries hulled and halved • 1/3 Cup strawberry jam • 1/3 Cup Appleflats Crabapple Jelly • 1/4 Cup granulated sugar • 1/4 Cup cornstarch • 1/2 Cup ground almonds • 1 Egg • 2 Teaspoons coarse sugar • 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar • 1/4 Cup cold butter cubed
• 1/2 Cup sliced almonds • Pie Dough for one regular pie
STREUSEL-TOPPED STRAWBERRY GALETTE
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375
2. Almond Streusel: In bowl, stir flour with sugar. Using fingers, rub in butter until crumbly. Stir in almonds. Set aside in the fridge
3. Toss together strawberries, jam, crabapple jelly, granulated sugar and cornstarch; set aside
4. On large piece of parchment paper, roll out dough to 17-inch circle. Transfer dough and paper to large baking sheet; sprinkle with ground almonds, leaving 3-inch border. Scrape strawberry mixture onto almonds
5. Fold over pastry edge to make 12-inch round. Sprinkle streusel over strawberries.
6. Mix egg with 2 tsp water; brush over pastry. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack. Serve at room temperature with whipping cream or vanilla ice cream

Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup melted butter • 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 3/4 cup graham crumbs • 4 cups whipped cream
• 8 oz. cream cheese • 1/2 cup icing sugar
• 6-8 ripe peaches, diced • 250 ml Appleflats Crabapple Jelly
Directions:
1. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, and graham crumbs
2. Press in 9" x 13" pan
3. Beat together whipped cream, cream cheese and icing sugar until smooth
4. Spread evenly over crumb base
5. (Chill for a few hours or overnight before serving)
6. Right before serving, toss freshly diced peaches in Appleflats Crabapple Jelly and then serve over cheesecake

Crabapple and Peach Cheesecake
Crabapple Jelly Banana Bread



Ingredients:
• 1oz White rum
• 2oz Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mix
• 2oz Club soda
• 3 Mint leaves • 1 Teaspoon of cane sugar
Directions:
1. Crush mint leaves and then add to highball glass
2. Next, add just a pinch of cane sugar or add till satisfied
3. Finally, add 1oz white rum, 2 oz Appleflats Crabapple Mix and complete the drink with club soda
CRABAPPLE MOJITO

Ingredients:
• 1oz Bourbon • Strawberries
• 2oz Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mixer
• Basil leaves • 4oz Club soda • Bitters
Directions:
1. In a blender, add 2-4 strawberries, Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mixer and bourbon
2. Once completely blended, pour into a glass and add a splash of bitters
3. Top the rest of the glass off with club soda
4. Complete the drink with ice and then add basil leaves as the garnish, serve and enjoy!
THE SOUR BERRY BASIL BOMB



Ingredients:
• 2 oz Gin • 4-6 Sour cherries
• Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mixer
• 1 Teaspoon of cane sugar • Club soda or ginger ale
Directions:
1. In a shaker, combine the cane sugar and sour cherries and muddle together
2. Once the sugar is broken down, add gin and Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mix into a shaker and shake.
3. Now pour into a tall glass
4. Fill the rest of the glass with club Soda or ginger ale, until satisfied
5. Serve with a garnish of your choice and enjoy!
SOUR APPLE AND CHERRY GIN SMASH



Ingredients:
• 1.5 oz Gin • Raspberries
• Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mixer
• 1 Tbsp of simple syrup • 4oz Club soda • Mint leaves (optional)
Directions:
1. Muddle 2-3 raspberries in highball glass
2. Add gin, Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mixer, simple syrup and club soda into glass
3. Finish the drink with a garnish and enjoy!

Ingredients:
• 1oz Campari • 2oz Dry Sparkling Rosé
• 1oz Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mixer
• Lemon Soda or Club Soda • Ice
Directions:
1. Add Campari, dry sparkling rosé and Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mixer into a glass with ice
2. Fill the rest of the glass with lemon soda or club soda
3. Use a stir stick to gently mix the ingredients together
4. Add a garnish of your choice, Serve and enjoy!

Ingredients:
• 250ml (1 Cup) Spiced Rum • 750ml Sparkling white wine
• 500ml Sour Apple Crabapple Mix • Assorted fresh fruit
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a pitcher over ice for a crisp clean taste

Ingredients:
• 1oz Crown Royal vanilla • 1oz Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mix
• 1oz Water or club soda
• Ice • 1 Apple (optional)
Directions:
1. Add Crown Royal Vanilla, Appleflats Sour Apple Crabapple Mix and water or Club Soda in a glass
2. Garnish with an apple slice, add ice and enjoy!

Ingredients:
• 1oz (30ml) Bailey’s Irish cream
• 2oz (60ml) Sweet Maple Crabapple Mix
• 8oz (240ml) Fresh coffee (Baden Coffee Company Recommended)
• Optional: Top With frothed milk or dairy alternative
Directions:
1. Brew fresh coffee as normal
2. Add Bailey’s Irish cream and Sweet Maple Crabapple mix as cream and sugar

Ingredients:
• 1oz Spiced rum (30ml)
• 1oz Butterscotch schnapps (30ml)
• 3oz Appleflats Sour Apple Mix (90 ml)
• Cinnamon sugar
Directions:
1. Dip rim of upside-down glass in water or lime juice
2.One wet dip rim in a small bowl of cinnamon sugar
3. Once the rim is coated, pour other ingredients into a highball glass over ice

• 1/4 Cup mineral water
• 1/4 Cup coconut water
• Fresh lime juice

The Sour Berry Basil Bomb

Crabapple Jelly is so versatile, it can be used to cook, bake, barbecue and used to replace any other sugary artificial jams or jellies.

Ingredients:
• 3 Eggs • 1/4 Cup milk
• 1/2 Tsp. vanilla • 1/2 Tsp. cinnamon
• Appleflats Crabapple Jelly
• Bread • Cream cheese
• Fresh fruit • Icing sugar
Directions:
1. Beat together 3 eggs, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Set aside
2. Spread cream cheese evenly onto a slice of bread, top with Appleflats crabapple jelly, then add another piece of bread
3. Dip both sides of sandwich into egg mixture and fry over medium heat. Sprinkle with icing sugar and top with fresh fruit
FRENCH TOAST AND CRABAPPLE GRILLED CHEESE



Ingredients:
• Round sourdough bread loaf
• Small wheel of brie cheese
• 250 ml Appleflats Crabapple Jelly
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°
2. Slice the top of the sourdough bread
3. Hollow out the center of the bread loaf and cube (set aside and use for dipping once served)
4. Place cheese loaf cavity and cover with loaf top
5. Wrap loaf in foil and bake for 40-45 minutes or until the cheese is melted
6. Top with Appleflats Crabapple Jelly
7. Serve and enjoy!

Ingredients:
• 1 lb. fresh asparagus • 1 Tbsp. butter
• 4 Tbsp. Appleflats Crabapple Jelly • 1/2 Cup chicken broth
• Salt • Pepper
Directions:
1. In skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and Crabapple jelly
2. Add asparagus; saute for 2 minutes
3. Stir in chicken broth; bring to a boil
4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender
5. Remove asparagus from skillet; keep warm
6. Cook sauce, uncovered, until reduced by half
7. Pour over warm asparagus and serve immediately
8. Add salt and pepper to taste
CANDIED ASPARAGUS



Ingredients:
• Appleflats Crabapple Jelly
• Red Port Wine
• Messino fig balsamic
• Messino honey balsamic
Directions:
1. Add 75 ml of Crabapple Jelly in a small saucepan with 40ml or red Port wine
2. Add 15ml of your favourite balsamic (I used equal parts of Messino fig balsamic cream and Messino honey balsamic)
3. Mix with a whisk as you slowly reduce the ingredients over med-low
4. Heat for 5-6 minutes. Serve over your favourite cut of meat and pair with a good red wine!
BALSAMIC CRABAPPLE SAUCE

Ingredients:
• 4 Slices of organic sprouted power multigrain bread
• Nuttin’ But Spreads Sunflower Butter
• Appleflats Crabapple Jelly
Directions:
1. Slice and/or toast the bread
2. Layer slices with sunflower butter
3. Layer Appleflats Crabapple Jelly over top of the sunflower butter to complete the sandwich
4. Cut Sandwich in half, serve and enjoy!
